We're sorry to see you go. You can delete your account at any time from within the MyTURN app. This page explains how to do it, what gets deleted, and what the timeline is.
How to delete your account
- Open the MyTURN app on your phone
- Go to Account Settings (tap your profile icon)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm your choice — you'll be asked to type "DELETE" to confirm
- Your account will be scheduled for deletion immediately

What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following is removed:
- Your name and email address
- Your profile and account settings
- Your group memberships and driving history
- Your badges, points, and leaderboard entries
- Your Hall of Fame records
- Any groups you created (members will be notified)
What may be retained
Some data may be kept for a limited period for legal or operational reasons:
- Anonymised usage data — stripped of all identifiers, used for service improvement
- Financial records — subscription and transaction records are retained for up to 7 years as required by Italian tax law
- Safety-related logs — retained only where required by applicable law (e.g. SOS incident records)
Timeline
- Immediately: your account is deactivated and you are signed out everywhere
- Within 30 days: your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems
- Within 30 days: your data is removed from group visibility for other members
- Up to 90 days: deletion may take longer to propagate through backup systems
This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you think you might want to use MyTURN again in the future, you can deactivate your account temporarily instead — just email us and we'll help.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. Please cancel your subscription before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → MyTURN → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → MyTURN → Cancel
